POLE DANCE with TOM AVERY

At the age of eight, Toms passion for adventure began. The story of Captain Scott, who in 1912 became the second person to reach the South Pole, inspired his dream. It seemed the purest form of adventure. ‘I knew from that moment on that one day I had to go to the South Pole myself.’ 21 years later, Tom retraced the steps of two polar explorers and led expeditions to both ends of the earth. At the age of 29 Tom became the youngest Briton to have walked to both poles. In April 2005 he and his team set a new world record as the fastest team in history to reach the North Pole on foot.

As one of the freshest faces on the motivational speaking circuit, Tom's youthful enthusiasm, humility and passion has captured the imagination of a broad spectrum of audiences.
